Elizabeth Culnan, PhD, DBSM
Dr. Elizabeth Culnan is a licensed clinical health psychologist who owns and operates Mindful Health Psychology, specializing in perinatal mental health, reproductive health psychology, and behavioral sleep medicine. Before starting her own practice, she earned her PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from Drexel University and completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, where she later served as Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Behavioral Sleep Medicine Services.
Dr. Culnan holds a Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and focuses on helping individuals navigate life transitions including fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum experiences, and sleep disorders such as insomnia and circadian rhythm disorders. Her therapeutic approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, emphasizing mindfulness while integrating evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
Lindsay McCullough, MD
Dr. Lindsay McCullough is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Associate Program Director for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and sleep medicine fellowship training at the University of Florida and Rush University Medical Center, respectively.
As both a sleep physician and someone living with type 2 narcolepsy, Dr. McCullough brings a unique perspective to her practice and teaching. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and passionate advocate for sleep health education, emphasizing the importance of community support alongside medical treatment for patients with sleep disorders. Her personal journey with narcolepsy was featured in the Fall 2022 issue of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine's member magazine, Montage.
